Help your mates get extensions, organise legendary nights out and help push for better quality supports on campus and more investment in education? Are you willing to stick your neck out for what’s right? Would you go to the Supreme Court to fight for women’s rights? Threaten the UCD Registrar if campus services stole your condom machine? If the answer is yes to any of the above, you’ve got what it takes to be part of the Students’ Union.

Print your form off here or get it from SU reception and drop it back into our reception before 5:59pm on Friday 27th September! Any questions? Email Katie or Brian at, drop by the SU corridor in the Old Student Centre or follow us on socials - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.

SU training is on the 5th and 6th October in a secret location, so make sure you keep that weekend free!

What is a Class Rep?

As a Class Rep, you have a seat at council where all the big decisions are made, held every two weeks during term time. You can bring motions to council to change and direct Union policy. This can include things like pushing for more recycling bins on campus, requiring the Welfare Officer to provide free pregnancy tests and campaigning on things like marriage equality, abortion rights and safe drug consumption. Council is your chance to tell us what you want us to work on and to work with us.

As well as sitting on council, you will stay in touch with the people on the ground. Is your class having issues with a particular assignment? Is that one lecturer not putting up the notes on time? Do they want class hoodies or to go on a big durty night out? Do they want to support a protest against Direct Provision? You'll be their go-to for their concerns and ambitions and we're here to support you all the way.

Voting is set for the 30th Sept and 1st Oct!
