We can all be so hard on ourselves and we frequently feel like are not living up to our own or others’ expectations. What if I told you there is an alternative to continually judging and evaluating ourselves? The alternative can be acceptance and self-compassion.

After that, join us in the Red Room at 4 for a self-compassion workshop!
This workshop will provide simple evidence-based tools for responding in an accepting, mindful and kind way to ourselves whenever we are experiencing difficult thoughts and emotions. We all want to avoid pain, but letting it in — and responding compassionately to our own imperfections without harsh self-condemnation — are essential steps toward living happier, more fulfilling lives. This interactive workshop will be delivered free of charge Varsha Eswara Murthy from the UCD School of Psychology to promote well-being on campus, and have a little fun too!
